We offer consultation services to help you find a facility that
meets both the highest standards of quality and your personal needs.
This free service provides you with a multi-facetted evaluation
and a concise list of facilities specifying the range of choices available
to you.
Your
GerontoLogis consultant will perform a complete and free evaluation
of your needs, taking into account the condition and requirements
of your loved ones. As
part of the comprehensive evaluation, at GerontoLogis we make every
effort to include family members and informal caregivers.
During the initial consultation, your consultant will make a
preliminary selection, as well as provide research information pertinent
to a residence or care facility and determine which services need to
be implemented to meet your immediate needs or your long-term objectives.
GerontoLogis may also refer you to relevant resources, if necessary.
In addition, your consultant will accompany you on visits to
the facility and will be present when you sign the rental contract.
Once the contract has been signed, a follow-up will be performed
on the first and third months to determine your satisfaction.
Upon request, the follow-up report will be sent to the reference
person.

 Your
GerontoLogis senior move coordinators are fully experienced in all
aspects of relocation management and their work is personalized to meet
the client’s needs and wants. They will work with you to organize an
inventory of items to be packed
and
moved, and they will unpack
and
prepare an accommodation that is ready to live in.
Your coordinator will arrange
for shipments and storage and coordination of a moving company. They
can also help prepare the home to be sold. For
organizing, sorting and downsizing, GerontoLogis will arrange
an estate sale,
garage
sale, or refer to a charity organization for donation. Since we provide
a comprehensive, turn-key service, GerontoLogis will
finalize the relocation process with change of address notifications,
transfer of suppliers and mail deliver. We are fully insured and
we make every effort to ensure your peace of mind.
Coordination
Services for Daily Activities
A Daily Activity
Coordinator is a person trained in gerontology and recreation who will
provide support to seniors and their families.
They can accompany
and guide clients for their banking, groceries, shopping, or facilitate
their participation in activities such as concerts, movies, restaurants,
outings or simply home based activities such as reading or exercise.
Our coordinators can organize a dinner or a reception, from food to
invitations, in your home if you want to have visitors or family members
over. You can also subscribe
to the daily reminders club which provides you with a daily phone call,
medication reminder, doctors or other appointment reminders, birthdays
or special occasion reminders. All
of GerontoLogis Daily Activity Coordinators keep a log book of the
evolution, changes, needs, problems and improvements of their clients.
This program is aimed at developing
and designing recreation programs for cognitively and physically impaired
elderly and to help seniors to remain autonomous.
